•Observation time: 6May20 9am - slide time: assumed 5May20 •Location: Seven Utes Mountain, on historic slide path 36.104376, -109.395825 Observed from Braddock beak 1km away •Slide Aspect: Due East facing slope •Elevation: 10,800’ crown (above tree line)

Observation was made from 1km away - no direct assessment -zoomed pictures lost to substandard iphone camera
Avalanches
Avalanche Description:
•Assumptions: -size D3 (500’ slide, 400’ deposition zone- deposition zone appears 2+meters thick/deep -3-4’ crown -broke down to ground level -wet slab stepped down to persistent slab •Observation Indicated: small amounts of cornice broke off and bounced approximately 250’ down slope leaving a bouncing trail without triggering a slide until the piece impacted an area with a shallow snowpack just below a exposed rock. The slide trigger to ground level with a 3-4’ crown. The deposition zone indicated a wet slab problem that stepped down to a persistent slab based on a tear drop deposition made of balls and chunks
