BC Zone: Vail & Summit County
Area Description: Grizzly - Black Mountain dividing (shared) west ridge.
Route Description: Shorter chute skier's right of Dogleg Couloir. Potential uptrack used on same line (Switchback seen ascender's left of slide)

Weather

Weather Description: Avalanche triggered 4/10, presumably in the afternoon. High temperature at nearby Abasin Weather Station was 40 degrees by early afternoon.

Snowpack

Snowpack Description: SW aspect, 11,500'-11,800'

Avalanches

Avalanche Description: Skier triggered slide, broke to basal layer along nearby rocks, trees, potential points of weakness.
