Area Description:
Directly off the ridge line off the top of the Aspen Highlands bowl summit looking towards five fingers. The closer slide looks slightly older, believe the second slide was from today as we didn’t notice it on the first run.
Weather
Weather Description:
Blowing clouds. Sun from above cloud layer at about 11,500 ft. Wind generally from North.
Snowpack
Snowpack Description:
New snow overnight and early morning about 4-6 inch at 12,000ft
Avalanches
Avalanche Description:
These two slides at about 12,200, SE aspect, directly off ridge line out of bounds from summit of Highland Bowl. Farther one appears to have propagated from the wind cornice on the ridge. Slide path passes out of sight down the valley.
