Area Description:
Berthoud Pass West, Pumphouse Basin
Route Description:
Toured from Pumphouse Basin TH to No Name Bench. After skiing No Name Bench, toured up the gully to the small knoll that sits in the No Name drainage. Caltopo estimates slope to be less than 28 degree. ESE aspect. Splitboarder cut top of slope with no evidence of cracking or avalanche. Proceeded to ride slope. Avalanche crown and debris was noticed once rider looked around after riding slope.

Sunny transitioning to cloudy and light snow. W/SW winds moderate.

ESE aspect, some evidence of mild wind loading. More moderate wind loading visible on No Name Bench (NE aspect)
Avalanches
Avalanche Description:
>TL, 12,000 feet, ESE, HS-AS-R5-D2. Wind slab. Crown appeared to be 12-18"
