• Snowpack Description: Snow surface frozen from parking lot to 14000'. Solid freeze about 3-5 inches thick at lower elevations. Fully supportable on feet, skis, & snowmobiles. Wind and clouds kept the east face from softening. 3-5 inches of chalky powder on upper elevation north-facing slopes.

Landmark: Ashcroft Elevation: 12000 ft Average Vertical: 300 ft Maximum Vertical: 400 ft Comments: Looks to have started as point release in the rocks. Fanned out to probably 100 feet at the bottom. Ran 3-400 feet.
