Weather

Weather Description: 35F, Winds WSW Moderate/Gusting strong at ridge tops, broken skies, brief periods of S-1.

Snowpack

Snowpack Description: The previous day's (03/01) measured HST of 15" and overnight WSW winds created visible windloading and fresh wind slabs on lee aspects.

Avalanches

Avalanche Description: West Fork of Jones Pass NE 11,900ft SS-AMu-R3-D1.5-I We did not witness the actual event. We could see the snowmobile track entering and exiting the path. We observed the debris at approx. 12:00.
