Weather

• Weather Description: Few built to Overcast. Light winds, some light to moderate snow transport on alpine ridgelines. No precip.

Snowpack

• Snowpack Description: Dug a test pit on S aspect BTL. Approximately 40" of slab down to the January 27th wet grains. This layer was dusty and hadn't refrozen yet. Moderate sudden collapse results on this layer. Also, Q1, propagating results, hard initiation on the February 2nd crust, about 30" down. Easy decision to ski some fun low angle powder.

Snowpack Obsvervation Cracking: None Collapsing: None

Avalanches

• Avalanche Description: Recent avalanche activity every direction you look, all elevations. Even some slides in tight aspen terrain. No collapsing while breaking trail.
