Area Description: Berthoud Pass - 90s.

Weather

Weather Description: Temps dropped from 15 to 1 between 11am and 2pm. NW winds, transporting snow about 15mph, gusting 25 or so. Overcast skies, clearing in afternoon.

Snowpack

Snowpack Description: Reactive. ~25cm cobination storm snow/wind slabs over 10-15cm buried slab. Poor bonding. 15-25cm/variable facets at base of snowpack on northerly aspects. Shooting cracks propagating 20m or more. Consistent whumpfing in wind affected NE/N aspects
