Accident Summary

PRELIMINARY: Three backcountry skiers triggered and were caught in an avalanche near Lone Peak, Utah, on May 9, 2024. One skier was partially buried and injured. The other two were buried and killed. More information will be posted on the Utah Avalanche Center's preliminary report in the next few days.
